Re: Flexitarian Diet

I grew up in the North of England, Salford Lancashire. Meat was a luxury then and didn't get much, mu mum would make a big batch of cabbage rolls but it was mostly rice and very small amount of ground beef. So my normal eating has mostly been that way even though I've lived in Canada since Nov '72 a...

Re: How it feels to be an Atlas Student

I'm not stressed myself, being retired there's not much difference except we did stop at coffee shops and restaurants are fair bit before. I walk a lot more, before I did walk daily but usually not for 2 hours brisk.

Re: Being Strong during this time

My apartment building has started a weekly Gazette with help info, and the management will help those in need of toilet paper. The Gazette also has crossword puzzles etc, jokes and stories written by residents. We shop for one lady down the hall, also shop for my wife's mother and sister who are hou...

Re: Spring Walkabout

Nowadays because of the virus, my wife and I walk 2 hours everyday, really enjoy the dirt paths which seem to have very few people, most seem to favour the paved bike paths. Walking the uneven dirt paths works more muscle and balance.

Soccer Goal Post Pull-Ups

Out for our daily walk along a bike path we came by some soccer fields with goal posts, they were made of 4 inch square metal frame but had these 2 inch tubular " V "wings going back with the bottom bar being parallel and perfect for some pull-ups or chin-ups. Haven't done pull-up for ages, when I w...
