One thing I've learned in college, and in life, is that the more things I know, the more aware I am of the fact that I don't know much. There's always room for more le...

Re: Diet...changes and challenges?

I'm an organic gardener, and I try to grow as much of my own food as I can. I don't buy into the organic thing entirely, but once I experienced pesticide poisoning first hand, I decided for me at least, that organic is the way to go. Professionally, I am an agronomist, so I know what I'm doing.

Re: walking

Lesson 8 and the perpetual lesson. Walk as brisk as you can. Time yourself, and try to walk it faster each time. Many critics of Dynamic Tension complain there is no cardio exercise in it. They are wrong. The 3 mile walk IS the cardio exercise. Speed walking isn't as glamorous as other cardio exerci...

Re: select atlas exercise for people with bad RA/OA

The best thing I know to do here is for you to take a copy of the course, show it to your wife's doctor, and ask his opinion. If you can't go that, demonstrate the exercises in front of him.

Re: Getting rid of belly fat ~ easy

You can't spot reduce. I've read that wheat will put the belly fat on you, so you might want to keep consumption of wheat to a minimum. To tighten the skin, I don't know, but loose skin is a side effect of losing weight too quickly. When you lose weight, it's going to come off from all parts of your...

Re: walking

I think walking on soft ground is more difficult than walking on hard ground. Especially a freshly plowed field after a heavy rain, or through tall grass. Loose sand works too. Yes, you're supposed to tense your legs and thighs periodically through the walk. You can tense your buttocks too for good ...

Re: Diet...changes and challenges?

I like to listen to either Enya or Sissel while i eat. talking about calming you down, and setting a pleasant dining atmosphere. Classical music can be good too. Dining is a good time to get your music bath.

Re: balance on standing leg exercises

by all means hold on to something to balance yourself if you have problems with balance. in time you'll get to where you won't need to do that. just be patient and persistent, and you'll acquire the balance you need. one of the beauties of Dynamic Tension is that it works on developing your sense of...

Re: Milk

You need to look up Atlas' milk diet. I'm glad it's no longer part of the course. I could never drink that much of anything.
