I had a serious lower back strain about 15 years ago from improperly lifting a heavy weight. It took physical therapy to get me through it. I still practice Lesson 3, Ex 2 but slightly differently. I was taught to keep the leg that is not being grasped bent with the knee up thus removing any strain ...

I'm not aware of a Senior Citizen's Atlas Course, Bridge. Is this something you purchased? Or is it your own version of the original Atlas course?

I've found that I can do upper body exercises while on my early a.m. walk! I get a rhythm going on, say, curls, using the walking pace to determine how slow or fast I do them. There's a steep hill near by, too, that I do lunge walks (Lesson 8, Exercise 7) while walking up the hill. It's great for wo...

Way to go, Bridge. I turn 75 next June, too, and there's no way I could keep up with you in a workout. I train too erratically to build that kind of endurance. And I notice now that I'm a senior I need a lot more recovery time. I think back to when I first got the Atlas course, I was about to turn 2...
