Re: Correct Fitness Techniques
As we get older, the joints wear down more, and, the ligaments and tendons may get torn(especially for powerlifters, weightlifters, and strongman competitors). Once you mess up your connective tissue, it becomes an uphill struggle to be at the level, before you were injured. I agree with the Chinese...

Re: Dynamic-Tension ®
Henry, I have seen tai chi being done in China from online. It seems like older Chinese will use tai chi as a form of exercise to stay fit. However, online, I see it being used as a form of self defense. Even as one who doesn't practice this ancient martial arts/ exercise method, Henry, your sword p...

Re: How it feels to be an Atlas Student
That is a healthy breakfast. With my oatmeal, I mix with water and raisins, before microwaving for 2:40 minutes. Then, will pour milk into the bowl. Before, I would have a bowl of cold cereal that has a lot of sugar. Oatmeal for breakfast, seems to be a healthier option than cold sugared cereals, on...

Re: How it feels to be an Atlas Student
Good to hear back from you, Henry. Was worried that you might have fallen victim to the CoVid19. Thank God you are still alive! Is very good that you don't take medications. I am almost 56.5 years old; so far, don't need to take any medications as well. That is not the case with my two sisters and b...

Re: Sciatica pain relief - prevention
Another possible exercise for the sciatica might be hanging a few seconds on a chinup/pullup bar. In the garage, where my car is parked, I have made it a habit of hanging from the above bar. My favorite time to do it is when I return home from my second shift job.To keep this exercise from being mon...

Henry Marczak, and, by keeping stronger joints, ligaments, and tendons, one can stay stronger, longer. Strong muscles need strong connective tissue, when it comes to possessing good physical strength.

Re: I love this system, wish i started when i was younger
Vitaman, I think there is an advantage in being older to start Charles Atlas. It mainly has to do with being able to appreciate good health more. When younger, you can get away with eating unhealthy foods and avoiding exercise. Not so, when older, when frequent doctor visits can become expensive.The...
