I was one of those hard core comic book collectors always lured by the Charles Atlas ads. Was always into ordering then spent my money on more comics...now in my 50's i wish i ordered back in the day. However better late than never, i urge all guests reading posts wondering what they should do to order the course and get started....I'm glad i did...
this is awesome, it works and best of all no weights.

50s is quite young for Dynamic Tension, after a while you will feel better than 20s.

I do DT with my father in law in his 70s and he is a very good Atlas student!

I originally bought the Atlas course back in 1970 UK, the thing then was not having the discipline to train properly and daily. I spent more time reading than doing. Much later years I developed discipline, nowadays at 65 work quite hard.

I turn 78 in a couple weeks. Began Atlas when I was 28. Of all the different exercise methods and programs I've tried I keep coming back to Atlas -- no dangerous equipment, no crazy supplements and steroids, no obsession with getting bigger and bigger. And although it is advertised as a body building program is is much more than that. There's still a lot of good advise in this well rounded program, diet, walking, etc. I have to admit, though, I tend to slack off for periods of time. Recuperating from a workout takes longer for us seniors, so adjustments have to be made. Hope to hear from your Atlas followers out there.
Blessings,
Jim

The Dynamic Tension System is not only bodybuilding and fitness but also very therapeutic. The self resistance on many of the exercises are really beneficial to joints and tendons.

Vitaman, I think there is an advantage in being older to start Charles Atlas. It mainly has to do with being able to appreciate good health more. When younger, you can get away with eating unhealthy foods and avoiding exercise. Not so, when older, when frequent doctor visits can become expensive. The good news is that it is never to late to achieve an Atlas body brimming with health.
