Interesting.
Anyone knows how pea protein compares to whey?

Pea Protein is
Naturally cholesterol free, Whey is not.
Gluten free
Vegan
Hypoallergenic - Why is not.
Pea protein is not a major allergen, Whey is.
Pea Protein is healthier than Whey, it is a slow digesting protein thus it makes you feel fuller for longer.
A lot of people have issues with Dairy these days and Pea Protein is a healthy alternative. Pea Protein
has no Soy either. Pea Protein is good for everyone.
Hope this answers your questions.

I have bought 2 kinds of vegetarian protein powders, an expensive name brand type that has all these ingredients...

Pea protein, Pumpkin seed protein, Organic sunflower seed protein, Alfalfa protein, Tart cherry, Probiotics (Bacillus coagulans [provides 1 billion cfu/serving], Bromelain, Turmeric extract, Black Pepper extract, Sea salt, Natural vanilla flavour, Natural caramel flavour, Stevia extract, Xanthan gum.

What I hate is the stevia extract, it's taste is way to overpowering kinda sickly sweet.

The much less expensive has...

Soy protein isolate, rice protein isolate, pea protein isolate, hemp protein concentrate. Unflavoured and unsweetened so you can add it to cereal or smoothies or even pancakes.
