Not too many people speak about hygiene.
Just as much as fitness and nutrition, proper hygiene is very important. Not taking care of your hygiene will lead to overall bad health. Remember if you end up speaking to someone about this issue that it is about the health and wellness of a person, not anything else. Be kind.

Growing up in England back in the 60's hygiene was not properly practiced, especially in the slums of Salford. Because many houses burnt coal people who didn't wash properly or change clothes regularly got dirty looking. Kids who just wash the face in the mornings would have what we called a tide mark, the neck area would be blackish, shirt collars looked filthy. People didn't take their shoes off at home or visiting, so you'd get a lot of smelly feet from people who didn't change their socks often.

Nowadays I have good hygiene and twice a year see my dental hygienist and dentist once a year check-up.
