Take care of your body

Today and every day is a great day to exercise and take care of your body. We have one body and we would like it to remain healthy.

I go to a senior centre most mornings and see the folks who haven't looked after their health and fitness. Most are way overweight and there because now a doctor will tell them to move for 20 mins a day and they sit on a machine and watch TV.

Me friend who just turned 76 has started to use a fitness room in his building pretty much every morning. He's way out of shape, I show him some body weight exercises and how much to do but prefers the exercise machines. We were walking through a park and noticing the kids play area challenged him to pull-ups. He couldn't do one but sez he'll work on it. I told him he could sit on a chair and stand up non-stop, he could count but told him people rush when counting so told him best is set a timer, 10 mins is a goal.
