Push up bars

Post by middleaged »

Hello everybody wandering what everyone thinks of push-up bars instead of using chairs . Is it the same thing? Does it hit the muscles the same way? Has anybody here use them?

I've used a soccer ball size medicine ball, like diamond push-ups. Also used a kettlebell or two. I like using a Swedish ladder, elevating me legs. I mainly just use the floor but have made use of suspension straps at the senior centre fitness room, they let you use many angles, plus some stability.

The senior centre fitness room has push-up bars, I found in a box of leg bands.
